The 4th ASAGE HR Conference
Part 2 – September 2, 2021
“Business, Growth, and Sustainability”
Vuillerens Castle
With the support of the CCIG and Quantis, the first part of the event took place online on March 25, with about 100 alumni divided into 11 roundtables—each chaired by a prominent figure from the region—to share their initiatives on the theme “Business, Growth, and Sustainability”
On Thursday, September 2, participants had the opportunity to reconnect and get to know one another (in person!) over cocktails in the magnificent setting of the Château de Vullierens.
A summary of the insights from the roundtable discussions on March 25 began by recapping the discussions with the key speakers and the potential courses of action that each participant had in mind following the first round of discussions.
Then, in pairs, the participants were asked to choose specific actions to promote greater sustainability in their companies and in their daily lives. Here is a visualization of those actions, in the form of a word cloud:
Public transportation, food, recycling, packaging, waste management, and green IT were particularly central to the discussions and commitments. This wonderful collective momentum allowed the key speakers to build on these points and conclude by outlining their commitments to balancing growth and sustainability.
Then it was time for networking! Thanks to the games Quantis organized on the product life cycle, we were able to continue learning about the changes needed to ensure growth that preserves the world of tomorrow.
Let’s hope that the lively discussions over a glass of local Chasselas and the magical atmosphere of the gardens, accompanied by the sound of the hunting horn, will help embed these commitments in everyone’s daily practices.
We would like to extend a special welcome to the distinguished guests who came to share their experiences and engage with the participants: Clara Millard-Dereudre (SIG), Anne Hornung-Soukup (TPG), Cédric Georges (ODLO), Bruno Rossignol (EPFL), Guillaume de Buren (Canton of Vaud), Lise Van Long (CIO), Thibault Tribolet (QUANTIS Switzerland), Nicolas Jourdain (NESPRESSO), and all those who have enriched the discussions since March 25: Marina Corti (RICHEMONT), Maria Mendiluce (WE MEAN BUSINESS Coalition), Philippe Fernandez (MIGROS), and David Bloch (WWF International).
