Sara Gnoni is the founder of The Positive Project, a consulting and training firm dedicated to organizations that contribute to a just, sustainable, and inspiring society.

After ten years of experience at two Big Four firms, she now helps companies, executives, and teams evolve their practices in governance, sustainability, and transformation. Her specialty: combining strategic and operational rigor with a committed vision of human rights, the natural world, and the public interest.

As a city councilmember and an active member of the nonprofit sector, Sara advocates for decision-making models that recognize planetary boundaries, future generations, and nature as essential stakeholders. She works in particular with Vivøices, Corporate ReGeneration, and Nature On Board to develop more regenerative and resilient governance practices.

His approach aims to make these transformations tangible and accessible: moving from intention to action, without pitting performance, economic sustainability, and the planet’s habitability against one another.

Subject description:

Incorporating Nature into Your Organization’s Governance: Why? And How? That’s the topic of ASAGE’s next Sustainability Workshop, led by ThePositiveProject.

Organizations depend on the natural world—water, soil, biodiversity, ecosystems, and communities—but these concerns are often overlooked in strategic decisions and governance bodies.

The Positive Project invites you to learn about Nature Governance and the Nature on Board approach: concrete strategies for integrating nature-related interests, interdependencies, and impacts into your organization’s strategy, decision-making, and governance.

How can we move from viewing nature as merely an ESG issue, a risk, or a resource to be managed, to viewing it as a legitimate stakeholder? What options exist for representing nature: as a guardian, a topic reserved for the board, an advisory committee, decision-making criteria, or dedicated indicators?

The workshop will also draw connections to the Robustesse and PermaEntreprise approaches, which help organizations move beyond a short-term optimization mindset and strengthen their sustainability in an unstable world.

At the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with:

  • Key facts about Nature Governance and Nature on Board.
  • Inspiring examples and practical steps for implementation.
  • A preliminary framework for identifying priority issues within your organization.
  • Strategies for launching an initiative tailored to your situation.

A workshop to advance governance in the service of life and future generations.
