A Look Back at the 10th HR-Careers Conference

When Diversity Transforms Leadership

On Thursday, March 12, 2026, Asage held its 10th Asage HR & Careers Fair…

More than 130 participants attended this inspiring and friendly evening organised by the Swiss Association of Alumni of Grandes Ecoles .

The evening began with two interactive workshops, designed to encourage direct discussion and the sharing of experiences.

Workshop 1 – Working with Diversity on a Daily Basis
Hosted by Danielle Brault (Danielle Brault International), this workshop explored the practical realities of collaboration within teams with diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Workshop 2 – A Different Approach to Entrepreneurship: Inclusion as a Model
Hosted by Yann Bucaille-Lanrezac, co-founder of Café Joyeux, and Lorraine Chastenet, International Director of Café Joyeux, this discussion illustrated how inclusion can become a powerful driver of both business and human progress.

The evening continued with a panel discussion moderated by Claire Burgy (RTS) featuring:

  • Isabelle Moret, State Councilor – Head of the Department of Economy, Innovation, Employment, and Heritage
  • Annick Wulf, HR Director for French-speaking Switzerland – CSS Insurance
  • Cynthia Marroccu, Diversity & Inclusion Manager – RTS
  • Eglantine Jamet, Co-founder and Director – Artemia Executive
  • Valérie Borioli Sandoz, Policy Manager for Equality and Work-Life Balance – Travail Suisse
  • Yann Bucaille-Lanrezac, Co-founder and CEO – Café Joyeux

What can we take away from these inspiring stories?

🔹 Diversity is a collective strength.
Organizational performance increasingly depends on the complementary nature of talents and backgrounds.
“Success comes from the group—and often from the most diverse group.”

🔹 Company culture starts with leadership
Inclusion policies only truly take shape when leadership champions and embodies them.
“Corporate culture always starts with the example set by leaders”

🔹Inclusion becomes a reality when it transforms practices
Recruitment, decision-making, and work organization: inclusion cannot remain merely a principle; it must be embedded in the concrete actions of organizations.
“Inclusion becomes a reality when it is embedded in decisions, processes, and the day-to-day experiences of employees.”

An evening full of conversation!

The choice of venue for the evening was no accident: Les Rencontres 7ème Art Lausanne, a film festival founded by Vincent Perez, is celebrating itsninth year with a program that is as rich and exciting as ever. Asage was fortunate to be hosted in the historic setting of the Casino de Montbenon by the festival organizers during the event, which took place from March 5 to 15, 2026.

To wrap up the event, the participants gathered in the Casino’s banquet hall for a cocktail reception. It was an opportunity to continue casual conversations, connect with their network, and make new contacts.
