🎬 Inside RTS with ASAGE!
Sold out… For itsfirst event of 2025,#ASAGE opened the doors of #RTS on Thursday, February 6, with a program featuring lectures, tours, and a cocktail reception.
🎞️ The 150 registered participants gathered at the iconic RTS tower on Quai Ansermet in Geneva starting at 6:00 p.m. They were treated to three engaging presentations on current issues facing public service broadcasting.
Sophie Balbo, head of the communications department, highlighted RTS’s unifying role and its values, such as inclusivity. She also addressed some of the hot topics of the moment: legitimacy, independence, reputation… It’s not always easy to represent this institution, even though it’s so valuable!
Eric Borgo, digital transformation coordinator, explained the growing role of artificial intelligence at RTS, particularly in content production and personalization. But be careful! There are limits that must not be crossed: #AI, yes, but with ethics and responsibility.
Claire Burgy, for her part, shared her experiences as a journalist over the past 20 years. Her challenge? To capture the attention of today’s viewers amid the overwhelming abundance of information across multiple channels…
The guests then enjoyed a guided tour in small groups:
⛑️ TV segments from hit shows like “Infrarouge”
🪜 Set Design Workshops
💄 Makeup and Hair Salon
🎾 RTS Sport Studio, Control Room, and Newsroom
They know every nook and cranny of RTS’s news and entertainment operations.
🥂Finally, in keeping with tradition, the #alumni and their friends had the privilege of gathering for a cocktail reception to enjoy some time together. It was an opportunity to chat and network right in the heart of the company.
