Practical Information
Europe and France have many ties to Aargau. A name well known from history books is that of the House of Habsburg, which—as you might have guessed—traces its origins to the village of the same name in the Brugg region.
Among other things, the Habsburgs built the magnificent Baroque castle of Wildegg, overlooking the Aare River, which we invite you to visit this Saturday, October 24.
Versailles left its mark here, but shh… you’ll learn why from Dr. Rudolf Velhagen, Head of Collections and Conservation at Museum Aargau, who will do us the honor of sharing his knowledge and expertise during this event.
One-time fee that includes admission, a guided tour, and “Zvieri” (coffee and cake)
We encourage you to take public transportation!
You can find directions on the Museum Aargau website:
